Christ recognizes our need for real food by giving himself to us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist as bread and wine. After being fed here first, St. Hugh of Grenoble parishioners can in turn feed those who crave both his nourishment and practical care.
Parishioners are encouraged to help with the weekly collection of non-perishable food items to feed our hungry neighbors. Please click HERE to see the items we most need.
If you are interested in volunteering to assist the parish pantry, please contact the Parish Office.
Our parish participates in the SHARE Food Network. The SHARE Food Network is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to offering healthy, nutritious groceries at a roughly 50 percent discount. This is accomplished through high-volume purchasing and thousands of volunteer hours, which strengthens the community for all. “Seeing with the eyes of Christ, I can give to others much more than their outward necessities; I can give them the look of love which they crave. ”
- Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI
Deus Caritas Est, #18
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
